Chair of Parallel Workshop Session W2.4 – “ETP MANUFUTURE Sub-Platforms and Other ETP's”

Sub-Platforms: ETP ManuFuture Sub-Platforms address mainly Enabling Technologies or represent a sector. Enabling Technologies: Agriculture Engineering Technology, Clean Environmental Technology, Additive Manufacturing, Micro Nano Manufacturing and Joining technology. Sectors: European Foot Wear Industry, European Concept (Consumer Industry) & European Tooling Industry.

Main Activities of the Sub-Platforms are:
1. Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (Updating to align with the challenges and priority areas identified by Horizon 2020)
2. Link with Member state Activities
3. Networking (Innovation, future challenges, technologies, markets & Increase industrial participation)

The presentation of the Sub-Platforms will cover the activities carried out by them and the results of some of their projects.

Other ETPs: ETP ManuFuture cooperates with other ETPs related to Manufacturing like Textile, European Materials & Food for Life. ETP Food for Life has initiated a project on FoodManuFuture with an aim to provide a vision and a conceptual design for a trans-disciplinary research infrastructure for food manufacturing. They will present the results of this project.
